CoinYatra puts rupee trading, crypto trading, transfers, portfolio tracking and rewards behind one login. This guide walks through what each section of the dashboard does, in the order a new user actually needs them, and links to the detailed guide for every feature.

Start here: the setup that unlocks everything

  1. Create your account with an email address you control and a strong, unique password of at least 10 characters.
  2. Enable two-factor authentication in account settings. It is required for withdrawals, so do it now rather than later.
  3. Complete identity verification in verification. KYC is required for P2P trading and for withdrawals.
  4. Choose your display currency — USD or INR — so balances are shown in the units you think in.

Everything below assumes those four steps are done. Skipping them is the most common reason a first trade or withdrawal stalls.

Portfolio: your dashboard home

The dashboard is the portfolio view: total value in USD or INR, balances per asset, live market prices, and — importantly — available balance separated from balance locked in open orders, P2P advertisements or Earn. It is also the launchpad into every other section.

Detail: tracking your crypto portfolio in INR and USD.

P2P: the rupee route

The P2P marketplace is where INR meets crypto. You buy from or sell to another verified user at their advertised rupee price, paying by UPI or bank transfer, while CoinYatra holds the crypto in escrow until payment is confirmed. It currently supports BTC, ETH, SOL and USDT (BEP20 and ERC-20), with orders between ₹500 and ₹5,00,000 and a 15-minute payment window.

You can take an existing offer or post your own advertisement with your price and limits. Fiat never sits on the platform — rupees move bank to bank.

Spot trading: the order book

The spot market is for trading between crypto assets at market prices. Pairs are quoted mostly in USDT — BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT, SOL/USDT and others — plus crypto-to-crypto pairs such as ETH/BTC and SOL/ETH. You can place market orders for immediate execution or limit orders that rest until your price is met, with an order book, recent trades and 24-hour statistics on screen.

Instant swap

On the Buy / Sell / Swap screen, the swap tab converts one supported asset into another at a quoted rate, settling immediately inside your account with no order book to manage. It trades price precision for speed and simplicity.

Note on the same screen: direct Buy and Sell orders with CoinYatra are not currently active — the app shows a notice with the scheduled availability date of 1 April 2027. Until then, INR conversion happens through P2P, and swaps handle crypto-to-crypto conversion.

Deposits

The deposit section generates an address per asset and shows the network, the minimum deposit and the confirmations required before crediting. Match the network on both ends, copy the address from the app, include a memo or tag where one is shown, and keep the TXID from your sending wallet.

Withdrawals

The withdrawal section sends crypto to an external address. It requires verification, a 2FA code and email confirmation; per-asset minimums and network fees apply, a daily limit is in force, and requests above a value threshold go to manual review before processing. Once broadcast, the TXID appears with the withdrawal so you can track confirmations.

Earn

The Earn section pays rewards on subscribed balances in eligible assets, accruing continuously in the same asset you subscribed and claimable periodically. The rate is promotional and variable, there is no subscription or claim fee, and Earn balances are not deposits and are not insured.

Referrals

Your account carries a referral code. When someone registers with it and makes a qualifying deposit, commission is generated at the current rate, held for a short period, then paid in USDT (BEP20). Terms are configurable, so check the live figures in your account.

Activity history

Activity is the audit trail: deposits, withdrawals, spot trades, swaps, P2P orders and Earn credits, each with amounts, references and status. It is where you verify that what you expected to happen actually happened — and the source for your own record keeping, which matters because crypto transactions can create tax reporting obligations in India.

Account and security settings

Settings holds your password, two-factor authentication, email notification preferences, display currency and account management options, including account deletion. The mobile app also supports a biometric lock. The platform-level controls — verification requirements, 2FA on withdrawals, email confirmation, withdrawal reviews and limits — are summarised on the public security page.

Other sections in the dashboard

Beyond core trading, the dashboard includes several further areas. Some are live; others are announced with a future availability date, and the app states this clearly on each screen:

SectionWhat it isStatus
Digital GoldBuy and hold digital gold in grams alongside your cryptoDigital gold available; physical redemption scheduled for 14 March 2027
InvestmentsApplication-based investment opportunities with defined terms, capacity and lock-in, subject to approval and agreementsAvailable by application, subject to approval

AdvertiseRequest advertising placements, priced by the categories the platform publishesAvailable by request

Each of these screens states its own conditions, and where something is scheduled rather than live, the app says so rather than implying availability.

How the sections work together

A typical journey uses four of them in sequence:

  1. P2P to convert rupees into USDT or BTC.
  2. Spot or swap to move into the assets you actually want to hold.
  3. Portfolio and activity to see where you stand and verify every entry.
  4. Earn for balances you intend to leave idle, or withdrawal to move assets to your own wallet.

Balances are shared across all of it: one balance per asset, with locked amounts shown separately so nothing is committed twice. That is why a P2P advertisement, an open spot order and an Earn subscription all reduce what is available to withdraw.

Frequently asked questions

What should I do first as a new user?

Enable 2FA and complete verification. Both are prerequisites for trading and withdrawing, and doing them early avoids interruptions later.

Can I buy crypto directly with rupees from CoinYatra?

Direct Buy and Sell with CoinYatra is not active at present — the app publishes 1 April 2027 as the scheduled date. Today, the INR route is the P2P marketplace.

Which assets are supported?

Major assets including BTC, ETH, SOL and USDT (on BEP20 and ERC-20), plus others such as XRP, TRX, DOGE, ADA, DOT, LINK, BCH, NEAR, XLM and LTC. Live prices are on the markets page.

Why is some of my balance unavailable?

It is committed to an open spot order, a P2P advertisement or escrow, or an Earn subscription. Cancel or unwind the commitment to free it.

Where do I see fees?

Fees are shown on the relevant screen before you confirm, and current figures are published on the fees page.

How do I get help with a specific order?

Use the official support channel in the app, and keep P2P discussions inside the order chat so they form part of the record. Support will never ask for your password or 2FA code.

Conclusion

The dashboard is easier to use once you see its shape: P2P is the rupee door, spot and swap are the conversion tools, deposits and withdrawals connect you to the wider blockchain world, portfolio and activity keep you honest, and Earn, referrals and security settings sit around the edges.

Set up 2FA and verification, then start with a small P2P order and follow it through to your portfolio. Every section above has a full guide linked to it — work through the ones you plan to use.
