Selling USDT for rupees, step by step

Deposit USDT on either supported network — BSC or ERC-20 — and wait for the required confirmations, which are listed on the markets page. Add the UPI ID or bank account you want to be paid into. Post a sell ad with your price and limits, or take a buy ad at the posted rate. Once an order opens your USDT is escrowed; release it only after you have checked the rupees in your own bank or UPI app.

  • USDT supported on BSC and ERC-20
  • INR settlement by UPI or bank transfer
  • USDT locked in escrow for the whole order
  • Your own price, order limits and payment window
  • Order chat with image and document attachments
  • Disputes reviewed by the CoinYatra team

Why the network you choose matters

USDT on BSC and USDT on ERC-20 are different deposit addresses with different network fees and confirmation requirements. Always send on the network shown for the address you copied; a transfer sent on the wrong network can be unrecoverable. Both networks trade in the same INR marketplace once deposited.

Other things you can do with USDT here

Beyond selling for INR, USDT is the quote currency on the spot order book, can be swapped instantly into other supported assets, can earn rewards through the Earn programme, and can be used to buy digital gold in grams.
