CoinYatra Card terms & conditions

The CoinYatra Card is a planned service. Card issuance and availability are subject to applicable regulatory approvals, Visa / card-program agreements, eligibility verification and final terms. No card is issued, activated or provisioned under these terms today.

1. Availability

Card applications are planned to open from June 17, 2027. Before that date no application can be submitted, and after that date applications remain subject to the programme being enabled by CoinYatra. CoinYatra may change or withdraw the planned launch date.

2. Eligibility

The card is available only to accounts in good standing with completed identity verification (KYC) that meet the qualifying trading activity requirement: at least $10,000 in qualifying trading volume over the preceding 30 days through CoinYatra Spot Trading and/or the CoinYatra P2P Marketplace. Wallet balance, deposits, Earn subscriptions and internal transfers do not count towards this requirement.

3. Card issuance

Submitting an application does not create a contract to issue a card. Applications are reviewed manually and may be approved, waitlisted or rejected. Cards will only be produced once the required regulatory approvals and card-program agreements are in place. Approval status shown in your dashboard is informational and does not represent a live card.

4. Physical metal card

The planned card is a personalised physical metal card posted to the verified address on your application. Images shown in the app or on the website are illustrative previews of the intended design and may differ from the final product.

5. Domestic transactions

Domestic transactions are transactions settled in Indian Rupees (INR) with merchants and ATMs in India. Planned forex markup on domestic INR transactions: 0% (no forex markup fee).

6. International transactions and forex markup

International transactions are transactions settled in a currency other than INR or with a merchant or ATM outside India. The planned forex markup fee is approximately 1.5%. This rate is indicative only and is not guaranteed; the final markup will be set by the executed CoinYatra / Visa card program agreement and applicable regulations.

7. ATM withdrawals

Cash withdrawals are planned to be available where supported by the card network, the issuing partner and local law. ATM withdrawal fees, where supported, will be set by the final card program terms. Per-withdrawal, daily and monthly ATM limits will apply.

8. Supported currencies and conversion rates

Payments are planned in INR and in supported foreign currencies. Where a transaction is in a currency other than the currency of the funding balance, conversion will be performed at the rate defined by the final card program rules, plus any applicable markup disclosed at that time. Reference rates shown in the app are indicative.

9. Funding and applicable balances

Card spending is planned to be funded from eligible CoinYatra account funds. The applicable asset or balance will be debited according to the final card program rules and conversion rate in force at the time of the transaction. Assets subscribed to Earn, locked in Spot orders or held in P2P escrow are not available for card spending.

10. Fees

Planned fees include the forex markup described above, any issuance fee ($0), any annual fee ($0), replacement fees, ATM fees and third-party charges applied by merchants, acquirers or ATM operators. All fees are provisional until the final card program terms are published.

11. Card limits

Transaction, daily, monthly, ATM, online, contactless and international limits will apply and may be varied by CoinYatra, the issuing partner or the card network, including for risk, compliance or regulatory reasons.

12. Security requirements

You must keep your card, PIN, one-time passwords and account credentials secure, enable two-factor authentication on your CoinYatra account, and report loss, theft or suspected misuse immediately. You are responsible for transactions arising from your failure to safeguard these credentials, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Suspension, cancellation and termination

CoinYatra or the issuing partner may block, suspend, cancel or terminate a card or application at any time, including where eligibility is no longer met, where identity verification lapses, where fraud, sanctions or AML concerns arise, or where required by law or by the card network. You may cancel your application or card at any time from the app or by contacting support.

14. Regulatory requirements

The programme depends on approvals and licences applicable in India and in any other relevant jurisdiction, and on the executed agreements with the card network and issuing partner. Nothing in these terms is a promise that such approvals will be obtained.

15. Availability by country and region

The card is planned for eligible residents of India. Availability in other countries or regions, and the ability to transact in specific countries, depends on regulatory and card-network rules and may be restricted or withdrawn without notice.

16. Other conditions

Card use is also governed by the CoinYatra Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, AML/KYC Policy and Risk Disclosure, and by the issuing partner's and card network's own terms once published. CoinYatra may amend these card terms; the version shown here is the current version.

17. Contact

Questions about the card programme can be raised from Support in your dashboard.
