Referral programme terms
CoinYatra has two referral programmes. Invite people with your personal referral code and earn a one-time 2% commission when they make their first qualifying deposit and keep it in their balance for three days. Separately, earn 2 CYT once for each new miner who joins CYT Mining with your Mining Referral Code.
1. Your referral code
Every CoinYatra account has a unique referral code, shown in Settings. A new member can enter that code during sign-up, open your referral link, which pre-fills it, or apply it later from their Settings page. A code can be recorded only once per account and cannot be changed afterwards. You cannot use your own code. CY Agent codes use the same sign-up field but belong to the separate Agent programme and do not create account referrals.
2. Qualifying deposit
A referred member's deposit qualifies when it is credited by CoinYatra after normal on-chain verification and its value at the moment of crediting is at least USD 1,000. Stablecoins such as USDT and USDC are valued at exactly USD 1.00 per unit; other assets are valued at the market price of the deposited asset. Deposits that are rejected, reversed, or never credited do not qualify.
3. Three-day holding period
The referred member must keep at least the deposited amount of that asset in their CoinYatra balance (available or held in escrow) for three consecutive days after crediting. If the balance falls below the deposited amount at the end of that period, no commission is earned and the entry is marked void.
4. Commission and payment
The commission is 2% of the qualifying deposit's USD value at crediting. It is paid once per referred member — for their first qualifying deposit only — and is credited automatically to the referrer's USDT (BSC) balance after the holding period, recorded in the ledger like any other balance movement. Commissions are not paid in fiat and are not withdrawable as fiat except through the platform's normal settlement flows.
5. CYT Mining referral
In addition to the account referral above, every member can have a separate Mining Referral Code for CYT Mining. When a new member joins CYT Mining using that code, you earn a one-time reward of 2 CYT per new miner. The reward is paid once per new miner — not for every mining cycle — and does not affect, and is not affected by, the 2% account referral commission. Mining referral rewards are subject to the same eligibility rules as account referrals.
6. Eligibility
Both accounts must be in good standing and not restricted, frozen or closed. Referrals between accounts controlled by the same person, and any use of duplicate, automated or fraudulently created accounts, are not eligible. CoinYatra may withhold or reverse commissions and mining referral rewards obtained in breach of these terms, including after payment.
7. Programme changes
The programmes are promotional. CoinYatra may change the commission percentage, the qualifying amount, the holding period, the payout asset, the mining referral reward, or end either programme at any time. Changes apply to deposits credited or miners joined after the change. Commissions and rewards already earned and paid are not affected.
8. Taxes and other terms
You are responsible for any taxes on commissions and rewards you receive. These terms supplement our terms of service. Where there is a conflict about referrals specifically, these terms prevail.
