CoinYatra is a cryptocurrency exchange and trading platform built for users in India. It lets people buy, sell, hold and trade digital assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT, with Indian rupee (INR) settlement through its P2P marketplace.
What CoinYatra is
CoinYatra is a custodial crypto platform: when you deposit crypto, CoinYatra holds it in your account and records every movement in an auditable ledger. You can see your balances, orders and transactions from your dashboard at any time.
The platform is focused on the Indian market. Prices can be shown in INR or USD, P2P trades settle in rupees, and support is provided by the CoinYatra team through live chat and the support centre.
Services CoinYatra provides
P2P trading in INR
Buy and sell crypto directly with other verified CoinYatra users and settle in Indian rupees by UPI or bank transfer. The crypto is held in escrow until the seller confirms payment.
Spot trading
Trade listed pairs through the spot order book with market and limit orders, open orders, order history and trade history in one place.
Swaps
Convert one supported asset into another inside your CoinYatra account at a quoted rate.
Crypto deposits and withdrawals
Deposit supported assets to your CoinYatra wallet address and withdraw to external wallets. Withdrawals are risk-checked and some are reviewed manually before release.
Buy and sell crypto with INR
Buy or sell crypto for rupees through the P2P marketplace. Direct buy/sell from CoinYatra is planned for 1 April 2027 and is not available yet.
Account security
Identity verification (KYC), two-factor authentication, an immutable ledger and withdrawal review protect accounts and balances.

CoinYatra supports 16 assets. Commonly used ones include:
